Services with Dr. Nicole La Verne:
As a therapist, Dr. La Verne focus on the whole "you". She addresses all areas of being, including physical and psycho-spiritual (not religion). She works with you to reach those parts of you that have been disconnected for a long time that have held onto old energy, trauma, memories, etc. For those who are interested in shorter-term, solution focused work she can also assist you on this path. Your goals are at the center of your treatment. Dr. La Verne utilizes various modalities of treatment, such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and more. She also ensures your privacy by providing low profile services - see Services Provided. She believes that we all have the Power within to find our strength, our path, our way to a better tomorrow. Most importantly, she is with you the entire way.
As an Organizational Psychologist, Dr. La Verne is well versed in the necessary dynamics to make your organization, staff, and operations grow to the next level for increased performance and productivity. With years of operational experience, management of staff and HR issues, work-flow processes, and even start-ups she bring to the table the skills and knowledge needed to meet regulatory requirements, retain and hire appropriate staff, and the management of such events as project management and program development.
As an OBPCLT approved and licensed Clinical Supervisor for LPC's and LMFT's, ACCBO approved supervisor, and nationally Approved Clinical Supervisor with the Center for Credentialing and Education, Dr. La Verne is able to assist you in achieving your required hours of supervision. She has many years of experience working with the co-occurring population and has worked with various mandated populations, such as forensics. She has worked with youth, families, and adults and has extensive experience in working with the "difficult to treat" populations as well as with those that have the diagnosis of Severely Persistently Mentally ill (SPMI). Dr. La Verne has also managed both outpatient and inpatient facilities. She works from on Object Relations and Transpersonal Psychology perspective with a focus on trauma-centered care founded in strength, resiliency, and recovery.
Services with Stephanie Bauer, LPC:
Stephanie has experience working with families, individuals, couples, and children ages 5+. She enjoys using an eclectic approach to therapy including EMDR, motivational interviewing, CBT, trauma based therapy, solution focused therapy, emotion focused therapy, and codependency individual and group therapy. Stephanie has an interest in working with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress management, relationship and communication issues, spirituality issues, social justice and family issues. She has a commitment to create a safe environment that fosters the growth and well-being of others in session. She enjoys working with clients to help cultivate the understanding that progress takes place in session and out of session and is not always easy or linear.
Anna has over 16 years of experience working with those with co-occurring, both mental health and substance use, issues. She has years of experience in community mental health assisting people with various issues, such as traumatic histories, depression, and anxiety. Anna uses Evidence Based Practices to help people find recovery that lasts.
Services with Dan Kelley, LPC Intern #R4846:
Dan is a graduate of George Fox University and has been under the supervision of Dr. Nicole La Verne since 2015. Dan has experience working with the co-occurring population, substance abuse issues, as well as depression and other issues. He works with individuals and couples and is very familiar with men's issues.
Services with Jeremy Hetland, LPC Intern #R4810:
Jeremy is a graduate of George Fox University and has been under the supervision of Dr. Nicole La Verne since 2015. Jeremy has worked with the co-occuring population, substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, veterans and trauma related issues.
